Plot

It tells the story of three very different families who are all vying to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they think will solve all their problems.

It took a while to get a sense of where and how it would all play out

And it took a while to find a balance between dark, grim humor and what was ultimately a fairly simple whodunit.

There is so much to see, so much to binge-watch, so little time… But I think perseverance pays off

At first it was hard to connect with the characters who, by and large, seemed silly or malevolent… I could understand why some might have watched one episode and put it aside.

I thoroughly enjoyed it

Some might think the ending is a bit maudlin, but there’s nothing wrong with a little sentimentality at this time of year.
