Plot

Media maven Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after stumbling upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first TV starring role. After watching 4 episodes, my first thought was: that could easily have been done in 2! And therein lies the problem. It’s not the acting, the actors, or the plot. It’s just that someone decided to drag this out over 8 episodes. This means the plot is unnecessarily stretched, the story meanders, and at times you feel like skipping ahead 10 minutes to get to the point. As for people rating this 3 stars, it’s really not that bad. Netflix really needs to start understanding that people aren’t going to be dragged along by shows that stretch just to keep one on the platform. And that’s all it is – an effort to keep you working for 8 hours!
